Myself and a friend auditioned for Big Brother a good few years ago. Never again. It was a nightmare. They leave you standing in the cold for hours and then see you for a minute and you don't get a chance to show what you can really do.
They start getting you to insult other people to see (a) if you can and (b) how you'd handle their retaliation. They also get you to do really stupid things like dancing on command. Then they huddle, make a decision (god knows how when they hardly talk to you) and then they let virtually everyone go.
It's a waste of time, the producers are arrogant idiots. Keep away from those auditions and spare yourself the time, effort and humiliation.

I think if you are the outgoing type you would enjoy Big Brother. Me, personally I think it would be fun to be on it even if lasted only a week. Since I don't think you can bring music I would bring clothes and some jewelry. If I was able to win HOH, I would want some good music and pictures of family and friends in my HOH room. I think it would be fun but who knows once you actually enter the house.

I love the show but I wouldn't go on it for all the money in the world. I think that each person lives separate lives. I definitely have one life that my parents will never get to see. They don't get to see me when I'm out and how I behave around my friends etc. Not that I'm nasty when I'm not around them, there's just certain things you don't want them to know. Going on there would bring out all my secrets! My ex's would do kiss and tells and i don't want my mum knowing about my sex life thank you very much! I'd have to continually watch what I say and my mum would kill me if she knew how much I swear on a daily basis!

It good that you should ask. I would not. However I know a girl who really wanted to go for the money. She sent in her forms and then lost her nerves. The organises wanted her badly and they kept calling her cell phone. She made an excuse that she was travelling and out of town. They offered to meet up with her at her location. At that point we (My friends and I ) wondered at the quality of people that apply for these things. We all love to watch (some more than others) but non of us want to be watched.

As much as I love watching the show I don't think I will ever have the confidence to actually go on the show. But who knows I might do one day you never know what your life will turn out to be like.

I would do it for the experience. It would be interesting. I wouldnt use it as a key to becoming a Z-list celebrity like jade goody. That is just plain sad. Pete was the best house mate ever and he has done the best thing. Taken the money and f**ked off.

Yes - because I'm quite smart and it would be a great way to get catupulted into the "famous for being famous" category and earning lots of money like that annoying bint Jade.
