There is a BIG difference between "disco" and "disco chic". Plus what people mean by "disco chic" changes every year.
You can currently take disco chic to mean, very glittery eyeshadow in pinks and purples, diamonds, stars ect. stuck to the corners of the eyes, glossy lips, over curled hair that is slightly bordering on afro, halter neck tops, hot pants, knee high socks and very glittery, very high shoes.
Ok, so this is the version that you will see in the magazines (style section of the sunday times yesterday p. 70). However, in reality this is a very hard look to pull off without looking like a tart or a crazy person!! if you wanna do it, try sticking with the glittery shoes, hot pants, small bit of glitter on the face and an over sized t-shirt with a bright plastic belt around the waist and your hair back in a pony tail with a bump at the front. Hope this helps!!
