My girlfriend has the habit of biting my nails when we watch tv together. I let her do that because she enjoys it and doesn't want her nails to be ruined but, now, my nails are getting very short (she's been doing this for years) and look like a typical nail biter's nails. Besides, they hurt sometimes. I just want to know if others have a similar situation.

I bit them for years and stopped, it took ages to get out of the habbit and im starting to think i shouldnt have bothered. I don't but one of my ex's did he bit mine and his own nails, usually when we were watching the tv too, I assumed it was a boredom thing. I asked him to stop and he didn't, half the time he didn't even realise he was doing this. I just kept taking my nails out his mouth it didn't stop him as a few mintues later he would be trying again! We didn't split because of this BTW lol

NO it sounds disgusting for adults to bite each others nails. Tell her to bite her own, or get something to put on your nails to stop her biting them.
I only bit my baby's nails to stop her scratching and they are paper thin.
