Most likely you are over using the anterior (front) muscles of your body, and not using your posterior (back) muscles enough, thus overstretching those poor little back muscles.
I suggest doing arm circles and stretching out your pectorals (chest) on a daily basis for a while.
Remember, the body is all connected, if you tighten the front, it's going to pull on the back.
Perhaps it's that you are lifting too much weight at poor angles?
