it is always better to download the video and watch than to stream it, the picture quality will be better, the size of the video does not matter and the computer will not freeze up, to download it is better u use azureus software,
u can stream small video, more over u cant save the stream video to you computer all the time, to watch it again after few days u have to stream it again, but if u have downloaded it u can watch it even if ur computer isnot connected to the internet

it depends if i have other stuff downloading in the background, if i do, i would just download it, if not, stream baby. i DID prefer WMP because the stupid people who made it left a bug in it that allowed you to download thousands of songs for free, but they fixed it, so I'd have to go with Quicktime (made by apple, who s[ecializes in media) Overall though I prefer Winamp as the ultimate media player

Depends, if it's just a stupid funny video, I like to stream it - as I don't keep it. I like to download it if it's a tutorial or somethin' of the sort.

And I hate both Windows Media Player and Quiktime.
I use VLC and Media Player Classic. VLC can play almost anything, and Media Player Classic comes in the KLite codec pack(Plays alomst EVERYTHING)

For large videos streaming is better since one doesn't have to wait for the download to complete.

Of course, this all would depend on your connection speed, too.

I like both programs fine, but use the windows player much more often since it is the default player.

the quick answer is bound, observing something is downloading it once you watch a video on Youtube as an example that is downloading that video for your laptop in a non everlasting style so that you really view the content.

download -- my internet connection is too slow/unpredictable for streaming to work very well

I like wmp and quicktime pretty much equally.

I'm always like to download it! That will keep my favorite song or videos in my PPC! I can listen the music everywhere!

I prefer winamp...and downloading. This way you don't get through half of the video and have it pause and say "buffering"
