The main risk is that you would be committing bigamy and could end up doing jail time for your efforts! Best to wait till the divorce is through.

In the us---bigomy is against the law!!!! so if you want to go to jail i would suggest you put the thoughts of marrying w/o a divorce right out of your head!!!
Get the divorce---wait out the statute that is set for the county and state you live in then if you have the need to marry again do it legally!

If the divorce is not final, and the potential ex is vindictive, you can be charged with bigamy. Also, in many states, any prenuptual agreements signed before the divorce is final can be annulled, if there is a second divorce. Talk to a lawyer, dude.

no risk involved. there is no marriage to someone else before a divorce is final because its against the law. i am sure your new pick for a bride would not want to marry u if she knew you were still married to someone else.

other than the fact that it is illegal you mean???? Since you would not be divorced, you would really be married to the second person....so what would be the point???? If it's symbolic then go ahead and have someone close to you perform some sort of ceremony....Otherwise just wait....what is the big hurry to make such a mess?????

You're likely to end up in jail because bigamy is punishable unless you're a Muslim.
