David Bentley (August 27, 1984)
Currently plays as a striker for Blackburn Rovers (2005-present).
He has 6 goals in 42 appearances for Blackburn.
Also plays for the England U21 team and has 3 goals in 6 appearances.
He has formerly played at Norwich City and Arsenal.

He was an arsenal player before joining blackburn on a season loan... he is now permanently signed by blackburn... he was also touted the next dennis bergkamp while he was at arsenal and many predicted a bright future for him... but sad to say, he was never given a real chance at arsenal...

Yes, he came through the ranks of the Arsenal youth system. Was touted the new Dennis Bergkamp, but found first team opportunities lacking.

Went out on loan to Norwich for a season, but when they were relegated they sent him back. Then Arsenal sent him out on loan to Blackburn, who then made the deal permanent.

You may get a more in depth history of the palyer, but yes, he used to play for Arsenal. He was only ever really a fringe player and did not get many chances in the first team. He is now playing regularly for Blackburn Rovers, I think on the right side of midfield.
