I wouldn't use a dowsing rod for that. I think you'd be better off starting with an EMF detector.

I have seen men use them and I must say that I completely discount their effectiveness.

heh, they are a load of crap by the way, all it is is the particular way you hold them makes gravity pull on them so they tilt to one side, simple physics
