I wasn't taught, I figured it out on my own. To be honest, if anyone had to try and tell me to question everything, I would be questioning their motives.

We are always taught these days to question everything, at school and uni in my experience anyway. But at the same time there are things they don't want us to ask questions about...like why we need HECS fees...
