Never become a salesman ... No is the most common word they hear.

You posted this in Parenting section, so without more info, I am guessing you have to tell your kid, "No" and deal with the tears.

Kids need to know that you love them. Spend time with them, hug them, listen to them, and they won't feel an ego blow when you tell them they can't have a Ferrari for their 4th birthday.

if that hurt then you need some extra self esteme... rejection is only a part of life, and there is plenty of acceptance in the world and personaly I think one acceptance is worth Nearly an infinate number of rejections

Ego's are a fragile and yes .. they do take blows on rejections and it's ok to Even get depressed about it. If you can find the determination though you can work past the deprestion and rejection to either acomplish or find a new goal to go after and learn from your past
