I like Artemis Fowl series. It's different from all the other kids fantasy books out there. They are well written, and quick reads.

I enjoyed all of the Artemis Fowl books. I agree that they are pretty quick reads, and the characters are very entertaining. A lot of my students enjoy them as well.
