Why don't those people standing in lines overnight (and in some instances, for days) to get the PS3 get the same negative reaction as the people who stand in line for only hours to get the latest pair of Air Jordans? I mean come on,. the Jordans are not gonna run anymore than about $300 a pair, whereas, the PS3 is $600 a console.(And please don't ya'll start with anything about RACE because I have seen blacks and latinos in line for PS3's and whites in line for Jordans, so put the race card back in the deck for.)

How's about this: I won't stand in line for either one because it's both stupid! No way in hell am I paying $600 for the PS3 (yes I own a PS2) or $200 (not $300 and Jordan is the greatest of all-time) for a pair of gym shoes that would last as long as any other pair of gym shoes (not including Payless shoes).

The PS3 has to drop down to $350 for me to even consider buying. Anyone that paid over $600 (retail price) for a PS3 out of desperation is dumb as dogs**t!

I wasn't thinking anything about race. But for me shoes are shoes. Why does someone need to stand in a line to get the newest cool shoe that cost so damn much, they are to walk around in so they don't hurt your feet! That's my argument to that. I always hated the teenagers at my highschool that were like "OMG, you stepped on my shoe." -my response "it's a damn shoe, get over it!".

I'm a gamer so I can understand wanting to have a console at a launch, but shoes? Haha, i'm a girl and can't honostly see the point in waiting in some line for that kind of stuff.
