my money's on earthquakes. They happen even in Florida, believe it or not, just nothing as sever or as noticeable as California. It's common, actually. I mean I'm sorry you are loosing money on household items, but vibrations of the continents shifting can be affecting your material possessions and causing them to vibrate in a level thbat is all but invisibble to the naked eye, until something like a glass falls to the floor.

Perhaps also, look into making sure your table sits level to the ground.

you've drank 1-16 to many shots... Now you need to start worrying if the glass leaves a suicide note stating it can't go on hurting others in this way so it's ending it all

ohh theres also the chane you had an earth quake and were to drunk to notice.

Mabye you had a Pro Proabition ghost around... or Mabye it was one that really wanted a drink and was frustrated ...

One other possibility... someone had some thin string and was pranking you just to see the look on your face...

Next time it happens, breathalyse the dog, the canary and the moggy. Keep the glass in a cool place, preferable with a secure lock. Do not fill it with strong drink ever again. I think that's the cause of many a jumping glass.

Well, I can relate to that. I took 30 Dormicum sleeping pills + 40 panadols with alcohol 10 years ago in my suicide attempt but I got saved and lived through that. As far as I can recall, I was in a daze for a few weeks after coming back from the hospital. Since then I was on various antidepressants treatment including even ECT but I am back to square one. However, I learned from one of my consultations with my psychiatrist that overdose of sleeping pills is not toxic to kill oneself. That's why you and I did not die through our attempts. As for jumping from the hotel room, it really take a lot of guts. You went all the way through the process but luckily aborted it at the last minute. Jumping from a high building may or may not kill as it depends on the height and also the way you landed on the ground. If you land on your feet, you may survive but with broken legs and that would be awful. You are still young and still have time to try out various antidepressants and combination of antidepressants and even ECT to see if it works for you. If you can be able to stabilise your depression, you are still young enough to start from afresh to have a 'new' life. Don't kill yourself yet. You still have so much years in you to go through trial and error to be well again and live a meaningful life. Forget about suicide for the time being and get a new psychiatrist to work with if the present one is not helping you much. Take good care, Depwill

You have a ghost! When my kid was first born, we bought him a small, stuffed monkey. One day, for no apparent reason (it was a still room w/no open windows & everyone was quietly reading), the monkey SHOT into the air and rocketed across the room!

We ditched the the thing, but now our house is still plagued w/strange, child-voice noises and laughing. Occasionally, I see a white face in a hallway or something will pitch across a room. It doesn't bother me...I figure I'm just sharing the house with them!

Get off the table cloth before you knock something else over.
