It is possible to have low FSH levels, but that is not good. You need this hormone if you want to get pregnant. If you do and your FSH level is low, talk to your doctor about treatment

I'm assuming you are asking because you or your wife is undergoing fertility testing and she has a high FSH level. I have read that FSH levels decreased for *some* patients after undergoing acupuncture and taking chinese herbs. However, it should be noted that FSH levels are symptomatic or indicative of ovarian reserve and fertility, NOT the other way around. This means that FSH levels become elevated because ovarian reserve/fertility is diminished, NOT that high FSH levels cause diminished ovarian reserve or infertility. As women age, the number and quality of eggs decreases and as time passes, the ovaries don't respond as well to the body's 'signal' to produce an egg and the body has to send an ever increasing signal to the ovaries. This signal is the hormone FSH. Artifically decreasing FSH will not change the quality or number of eggs or your chances of conceiving.
Even if there is something that could lower FSH levels, it would not increase your chances of having a baby. Analogy would be like having appendicitis and having a fever because of the infection/inflammation. You could take aspirin to relieve the fever but it does nothing to address the appendicitis. Ovarian reserve and FSH levels are the same. You *may* be able to reduce the FSH level but it doesn't change the ovarian reserve.
If you research FSH on the internet, you'll see it repeated over and over that your worst FSH score is the most indicative factor, which is to say that if you have a poor FSH score and later receive a better one, the poorer score is the more 'accurate' or 'indicative' score.

It seems that there are drugs for everything, so I would say yes. However, the best person to discuss this with, is your doctor. Sorry I can't give you a better answer. Talk with your doctor. Hope that helps. Take care.
