It really doesn't matter now does it? It serves no purpose whatsoever! At least not to the poor sheep who dole their hard earned cash to watch the movies. Whatever the outcome has no direct bearing on my life or anyone I know. BAN AWARD SHOWS! All they do is give actors/directors/producers more reason to believe they are better than all else.

My husband and I used to go to the movies ALL THE TIME, and this year we had a baby so we haven't seen too many. In fact, I can't think of a single movie except The Departed and I LOVED IT! I really hope it wins Best Picture and that Scorsese receives Best Director!
