I have a fish tank inside a large wooden stand. Would it be enough room for three sows? My three kids aged 6, 4 and 2 will be playing with them everyday.

Ummm no!!! u need a proper enclosure for your guinae pigs! A fish tank is not enough as a) it has no holes b) it is probably made of clear glass) ( too much heat can get in)! and c) it's probably too small. Make a proper enclosure which will suit them!

my GP was in a 2 ft fish tank. she had saw shavings to soak up pee. a shoe box to hide in. a small towel ontop of the box so she could sit on it. a water dripper. a salt lick and a bowl of mixed GP food.

she lived for ages with no health problems.

she was taken out about 5 hours a day and sometimes slept in bed with me.

Sure why not. 30cm by 30cm for each pig - you need about 3ft by 1ft tank - high enough so they don't climb out.

You can take them out to play but you have to watch over them. Designate a time that they could play so that the guine pigs won't get 'disturbed' all the time and your kids could get a reward for doing their homework.

You can't because its glass and the guniea pig will sweat and could die! He needs a proper enclosure, Guinea Pigs are classed as rodents and therefore if not looked after properly they are not easy to treat at the vets!
