I assume you are referring to a GM 308 c.i.d. motor right? If you are unsure of what you actually want then you need to think about if you want your car to have more bottom end power or top end power. If you are into drag racing then you definitly want more bottom end power. Try checking out a site called SUMMIT.com they have just about any performance parts you can imagine for every engine. I recommend that you look into thier package deals that come with an intake manifold, camshaft, and carburator. That sort of takes the guesswork as to what you actally need to buy. As for your heads just take them off and take them to a good machine shop and see what the guy that works there recommends and he can give you a ball park figure as to what kind of money you want to spend having new valves, bigger ports, etc. Hope this advice pointed you in the right direction.

Edlebrock makes combinations you can purchase as a package deal. You get high performance heads, a matching intake manifold, and a profile cam and lifter set that is to your wants and needs. All you have to do is decided what is best for your driving style, and answer a few questions, and they can recommend several combinations from mild to wild.
I'm glad I could help. Good Luck!!!

First of all I don't know of a 308 ?? what make ?
Second of all What do you want out of it ?
Bottom end ? top end ? Drivability ? Fuel Economy ?
Whatever you want, don't just throw stuff together, it all works as a team.
