Nicotine is not a narcotic. It is an alkaloid found in many plants. If you are also asking if nicotine is addictive, like narcotics, yes.

no its a stimulant, a narcotic is technically only opiates/opioids such as hydrocodone, morphine, codeine, and propoxyphene.
now the dea/cops will say otherwise that any illegal drug is a narcotic but they're just scaremongerers/money rakers spouting lies based on archaic and faulty "evidence" manufactured by their own scientists.
