First thing in the morning when your urine has the highest concentration of hormones to detect pregnancy.

Obviously you test 14 days after ovulation or when you miss your period whichever comes first.

Most test are good at detecting any time during the day, but if your testing early then first thing in the morning is best as this is when the urine is at its most concentrated and there is a highter level of the pregnancy hormone

You should wait until the day your period is due before taking a test. Don't drink excessively to make yourself pee as this could give a false result. If taking an early pregnancy test then the morning is better, if waiting until after your period is due then anytime of the day is fine.

mosts tests now you can do anytime of the day and some really early clear blue you can do 5 days before your period although i think its best to do about a week after your period is due then you will no for certain without doing a test and then starting your period cos you were just running late, to be honest you can do anytime i have 2 children and i did 3 tests before it showed i was pregnant and one of them where done at the docs... so good luck and i hope the result is what you wanted..

It used to be first thing in the morning, presumably because your bladder would be full, and the urine concentrated (unless you had been up all night drinking loads of water!) and so there would be more concentrated pregnancy hormone, if present, to test. Nowadays, the home testing kits can be used at any time.

Yeah the early morning theory is because the urine is most concentrated. Most pregnancy tests now can be done at any time of the day or night.

It's best done after your missed period. They say It's better done first thing in the morning but I did my test bout 6 at night and it was 100% accurate.

Most tests these days can be done any time of day. If the pregnancy hormone is present in the urine, then 100% accuracy with the test.

you can test anything up to 4 days before your period is due, but this has to be a first morning sample. Anything after that you can use any time of day sample. If you are unsure of period due date, you can test 10-16 days after ovulation has occured. hope this helps good luck xxx

You should take the pregnancy test 3 weeks after your last period any time is fine it is true though that your pee in the morning is more concentrated however i took mine in the afternoon and it came out positive.
