Sarwan has been dropped on performance in test cricket. he averages just 38 after 60 tests. he is an outstanding player in ODIs though averaging 46+. Why dont such things happen in India cricket. Players like Kaif are persisted with, and instead of going for a good one day player, they went for Jaffer. bizarre and very coward selections. It seems it is easy to get selected to the Indian team that to get dropped .

Why, when it happened the whole of India cried foul, when Ganguli was dropped, Till today people are asking question, even when his form is woefully dismal. Sarwan also not dropped suddenly. Only after having given ample chance. It has become a fashion to criticize every action of selection, when we are losing.

I dont think Sarwan has been dropped just because of poor form. Since West Indies have better bench strength than
India, they can afford to drop a player in the calibre of Sarwan.
