I know there's a little nightlife but i mean fun things to do with friends? Im in my late teens and a girl and me and my friends want something different to do. Any Ideas?

It has been many years since I visited Canberra but like most cities it depends on the activities you like.
Check out all you can on the web before you go so you don't waste precious time when you arrive.
If you like guided tours:
Ride in a haunted Cadillac hearse! Destiny Tours Sydney show the undiscovered side of Canberra in a tour you'll never forget. The informative and entertaining commentary by Tim the Yowie Man will tell you about the famous and infamous who shaped the history of Canberra.
If you're curious you could visit the Royal Australian Mint and see how our money is produced.
Then there is Parliament House, you can visit.
The Australian War Memorial is worth a look, situated across the lake from Parliament House. There is a fabulous view from here too.
You can catch a bus from the city to "The National Zoo and Aquarium". It's a modern zoo with large, natural enclosures. There's lots to see and do.
The National Science and Technology Centre, is very hands on.
Or you could take a Dawn Drifters Balloon Flight.
Hot air ballooning is great fun.
If these don't appeal, Canberra has the same attractions as most cities, museums, cinemas, malls, sporting facilities.

Umm... The Presets are from Australia (though not Canberra). Enjoy them. I would if they were from the US. :)
