I want to link the chapters of a book through a index that i have created in the first document. I have created buttons for each chapter. How can I link them up. I mean what is the simple code?

make sure ur button is symbol, if not select ur button and press F8 and choose button checkbox>>ok, now it is converted to symbol. now double click on it and you will see ur time line has four time entries up, over, down, hit. insert keyframe in down entry and go to ActionScript. go to Global function>>Browser Network>>double click on LoadMovie in down pane in action menu. first make sure ur Script Assist is enabled right hand side above the window>> now u will see some text fields Enter ur Swf file name in URL section>> SAve ur file or Ctrl+Enter. its ur choice!
