Both at the same time. You love because you want to love, and therefore you are free. Yet you also are confined by that love, and are sort of a willing slave to the irrationality of it all.

Looks very much like slavery, but in reality, it is the ultimate freedom, which ever way we look at it , just as "choicelessness' is the real freedom, and not the limits of having a choice and having to choose !

Thats a hard one! Love, true love does bind one..heart and soul to another. The things you do, are done for both you and the one you love..it's no longer a "memememememe" situation.

While, at the same time...the love you feel gives you a feeling and sense of freedom that one won't experience until they experience love.

Neither. Love is its own entity, and you can't describe it shades of black and white, or in terms of freedom or slavery.

Love is freedom. When you love someone, you give them the freedom to be themselves without fear of being laughed at, ridiculed or alianated. Likewise when u is loved, you feel that freedom to be who u is, say what u want without fear.
