Here in Greece our tradition says that when you dream of someone you love means that he won't ever betray you, and if you dream of him kissing and hugging you means that this person will soon betray you.
Or you feel insecure with your friends....

your dreams are just parts of what you are thinking of at some point in the day. This is because sleep is when you turn your short term memories into long term memories the combinations of what these show up as in your dreams are absolutely random. the things in a dream can have no relationship with each other. So you were most likely turning something your friend did into a long term memory that showed up with the peeling away of the face which you didn't actual have to see the way it happened the pealing could also be random memories smashed together to make an image in your mind
and there is no short supply of awful things people can do in someones mind .So don't take this dream as anything symbolic.

I think that maybe there is pressure somewhere for the relationship you have with this friend to change, perhaps to intensify. Who initiated the possible change doesn't matter, it could be you, it could be her, or even a third party. But the rub is you do not want anything to change because you do not want to take any chance that would damage what has already proven to be a good thing. Sometimes it is easier to move away from a good thing than it is to see it possibly become "damaged."

pretty obvious. Your subconscious is warning you about this person. She seems all nice on the outside but there is something else going on beneath that surface. All that glitters is not gold. It might have nothing to do with you but then again, it might. Take a second better look at your friend and see if you can see what your subconscious sees. Be wary and take care.

Just a guess on my part:
It could be your subconscious telling you that your friend is not showing her true "face". It may be that for some reason, you're afraid she may betray your friendship. I think it's more about your insecurity about your friendship than it is about your friend's actual character. Have you been feeling vulnerable lately?

I think that you'e afraid that she's not as good as she seems, and your subconscious is playing out this mistrust. Try to forget about this dream, as all it is are your insecurities in a modified form.

It means that you are not what you think you are, what is good is not what you think it is. I think the friend is irrelevant. It means go deeper into people and their true being. See deeper, try some psychology or sociology classes..
