What is the future trend of Dowjones Index in the later 2006 and earlier 2007?

Also, how about the oil price then?

Unfortunately, my crystal ball does not seem to work very well on such prognostications. Currently the Dow is in new high territory and generally speaking once a trend begins it normally continues for a while. The drop in oil prices had a great deal to due with the current trend, I might add. Any number of events might cause the trend to reverse and do so at a moments notice. Specifically, watch the housing market. That would be the one indicator that might very well upset the apple cart so to speak.

a million) The VIX isn't a inventory industry index. 2) The DOW is an rather limited index comprised basically of 30 agencies and that's "fee weighted" which makes each and every physique with any math inclination flinch 3) The Russell 1000 is an exceptional index this is extremely correlated with the S&P 500 yet heavily isn't as prevalent for no particular reason different than S&P 500 got here first.

My opinion?
I think it will go up and then down due to a correction in early 2007. That will be the best time to buy in.
For the price of oil, likely to either stabilise or go up. But I'm betting on the former.

I don't know what the price of oil will do but as my dad once said to me "if there is a god in heaven, long-term the stock market will go up." How is that for a prediction?

Good Luck!!!
