I have never cooked a ham before, but want to make sure that i don't leave a step out. I have been reading different recipes. Do I have to trim the fat off of the precooked ham? How long should I keep it in the oven and what degrees? Is it necessary to slit diamond shapes in the ham? Is it necessary to remove the bone and if so how do you do it?

Don't trim the fat. I'd guess at 20 minutes a pound for bone-in, 350 degrees. Don't cut diamond shapes. Don't remove the bone. You can make a glaze with honey, or butter, or fruit concentrate, and spices, or a combination of those. Just cook it slow, baste it every half hour. Next time get a spiral cut, or some other bone free ham. It takes about 15-18 min a pound.

Don't cut the fat off until after it has cooked. Don't take the bone out (you can buy boneless hams). You don't have to cut diamonds in it but if you do make some kind of slicing in the meat the spices you put on it will soak in much better. My favorite way to have ham is putting slices of pineapple all over it and pin them down with cloves.

I mixture mutually 2 cups of pancake syrup, a tablespoon of mustard and a million/4 cup of vinegar (the two variety). score the ham with X's and positioned an entire clove into each and each circulate of the X. Use 0.5 of the mixture to coat the ham. Stick it in the oven in accordance to the instructions on the equipment for temperature and cooking time (coated with foil). Brush on left over mixture each 30 minutes. detect the final 30 minutes. Very delicious. or you may bypass the elementary path and only open up a can of Coca-Cola and pour it on. that's stable too. stable success!

I just cooked a Berley & Jensen Brown Sugar and Honey ham yesterday...purchased at BJ's.
It was delicious...15 min to the pound @ 275 degrees, covered and don't overcook. It was perfect. It's my favorite pre-cooked ham and don't have to dress it up or add anything.

I take cloves and stick them all around the ham and get some pineapple rings and attach them to it and pour some orange juice on it and bake for a couple of hours on 375!

MISS LADY, JUST POP IT IN THE OVEN AT 300 DEGREES, AND IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 15 TO 20 MINUTES TO GET WARM, DON'T CUT NOTHING OF, IF IT HAS FAT THEN IT WILL MAKE IT MORE JUICER.
