There is a great website called YourPoeryDotCom and it is free to join. You can post your poetry there and it will be read and commented on by other poets from around the world. They're a really encouraging friendly bunch.

Not so much tips for how to write a poem as they are experiments / exercises for getting your writing going. I've found them to be really helpful during those times when I just can't seem to think of anything I want to say or how I want to say it. They're good ways of kind of forcing yourself to let go...
