I'm about to apply, but I'm still not sure which are the best choices of schools because I haven't been living in the States for a long time...

My best hope is to go to Syracuse or RPI, but I still need some schools which I'm sure can get into.

Can anyone provide some info about middle tier architectural colleges??( or from middle to about where Syracuse and RPI are)

Thanks Lots!!!

I saw somewhere that the top architecture schools are Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Columbia, Notre Dame, Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon, Syracuse, Michigan, Cincinnati, Cooper Union, Georgia Tech, and Cornell. Unfortunately, I don't know the source.

In one 2003 survey, 148 architectural firm owners and partners were asked which schools best prepared students for the architecture profession. (You'll be happy to know that Syracuse ranked in the top 20).

You might also want to check out the US News & World Report Rankings. On their website, go to "Rankings & Guides" menu. Unfortunately, I think you may have to pay for access.

There are also a couple of books out:
