HTML stands for "HyperTextMarkupLanguage"
Basically every web page of every website has its own instructions on how its supposed to look on your screen and it is written in this "language". HTML is used by web developers to create webpages and websites, you can view the HTML for this page simply by going to the View tab at the top left of your screen and the click on "source". This is the HTML of the page you are viewing.
