at my first firewalk, there were many exercises that day, breaking boards with your hand, breaking a wooden arrow with your throat , etc etc, and of course walking on the coals themselves. what i did and was very proud of (only a handful did it) was to bend rebar, thats the metal rod they put in concrete to reinforce it, you place it in the hollow of your throat as does your partner and then you get a "connection" you look into their eyes and focus on embracing when you feel it you walk together and embrace bending the rebar in half with only the energy and your throats, it was one of my special moments, i still have the rebar as a momento.

This is kind of an interesting question in that it is almost like the glass half full/ empty. Do you perceive it as a positive thing or a negative thing. My first impulse was the positive in that wow, look how much I have accomplished. And yes I do, just for milestone and calendar purposes. : )
