I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus. The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

I had the same trojan horse...

My anti-virus did not dedect it. I downloaded the windows update from the windows site for checking any spyware or malicious programs. The software found out this program but could not remove it. I noted down the name of the program and its path. Then i restarted my system in safe mode and mannually deleated the entire folder of the program. (that includes another program with similar name and also a .dll file) When I restarted the computer the Trojan is gone!!!

There is no need to panic just as yet. Try to find the name of the offending malware and hunt for a patch/stinger that will remove the malware. In any case, you must install and Antivius and keep it uptodate... this preventive measure will stop this kind of situation from recurring in the future.

As for the stinger you'll find one at vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/. Otherwise try googling for it. If it is an old trojan then you will find one. You just gotta look... that's all.

Trojan horse needs to be removed manually, if it is not removed automatically. First your antivirus program should be able to detect its name. Trojan horse is the type, you have to identify its name. Then you can search using google to obtain manual removal removal instructions. Usually you need to boot in safe mode and then run virus scan to be able to delete all files installed by the program, registry entries etc.

Update ur anti-virus definitions over internet.U can also update manually by opening the prog. & clicking on"live update" .
u may also visit site of software manufacturer & look for a section on virus updates.
If the attacker has disabled antivirous update capability, u need to run the updated software manually

goto Start->Run and type "msconfig" and click OK. Goto Startup and uncheck the trojan horse program. Reboot your PC and thats it. If it still doesnot go, goto registry and goto "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft\Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run".
Remove the defaulter program.
