Have you ever got chosen for best answer when you didn't deserve it ?

Yes. I wrote about a paragraph to get my point across, by the time I hit submit, someone had said exactly what I had just said, but much more eloquently and in one sentence. I thought he deserved best answer, but I was happy. But, I have also NOT been chosen for best answer when I have felt I deserved it, so I guess It all washes out in the end.

Not that I know of, except when I am the only one that answered the question, then I guess it is still the best answer. Huh?

i never know what will happen, i've written beautiful insightful answers i "knew" were the best and not been picked and i've been a sarcastic *** and gotten the 10 points, lololol there's just no predicting what the querent is looking for. sometimes when i get the notice it's like WTF? but i'll gladly take any points offered! lolololol

no, i do research on my answers as much as possible with what is given.with the weird questions i just have fun with them. my question was GIVEN a best answer and it was wrong.

yeah loads of times-I did try to be helpful but compared to other answers, mine was really crappy but asker still chose me-maybe they felt sorry or something :D
