why is it that you may be able to give great advice to others, but when it comes to yourself you don't know what to do? anyone have this problem?

Like me, I think some people like voice their problems and hear other peoples opinions and advice. It helps to make a better decision. Also I find that by talking about it you can answer your own questions.
As for giving advice, well............we like to share our wisdom!! Lol

Yes, cuz most of cannot clearly see ourselves. Most of us think we are special in some way. Even when you realize this it changes nothing. My friend is a rent a cop who is dating a fat sl*ut he continues to think he puts his life on the line everyday and that everyone is jealous of his girlfriend. He doesn't realize how bad his g/f is for him (or anyone) but will defend her on all the fu*ked up sh*t she does. He is always saying how people in the relationship are blind to everything yet he won't listen to a word I say even when I sugar coat it to make it easier to swallow.

It is because we don't have perspective when it's something personal, and cannot step back and look at it rationally. With other people, you are "stepped back" so to speak, and can see the problem from a different angle. It's called human nature!
