I learned that if I ask my boss for a favor (like for a day or two off in particular) that he is going to screw me over later by giving me extra duty in a few weeks. I asked him earlier tonight for a couple days off to spend with my husband then later on I got a phone call saying that I have funeral duty on Christmas Eve. What an @ss

Well, I guess I learned a couple things, one is it is always easier to be kind than to be mean and another is that something as simple as a football game can make someone's day.
