Eragon book #2, Eldest. Even thow I didn't finish it, it seems interesting. And when they say a place, there's a map at the start and end of the book so you could look at the place they talk about. Verrrrry interesting! I wanna watch the movie, it's gonna show in December I think. =D

Angela's Ashes by Frank Mccourt. Great book about Irish immigrants in America and growing up impoverished and Catholic in Ireland. He is hysterical. Its a must read modern day classic.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
I love that book because it talks about girls and their problems dealing with family, relationships, break-ups, etc. It really helped me realize how lucky I am.

im trying to read fly girls, but my favorite book so far has to be "shayla's brown baby blues" and "kambia's something neptune" i think those are the names it's been a while since i've read them. one of them is continuing from the other. i like them because i can relate to them. they're like storys that could happen in real life. and they also talks about rape, which was similar to my situation.
IF ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A BOOK CALLED "FLYY GIRLS" BY OMAR TYREE FOR FREE, PLEASE LIST THE WEBSITES BEFORE OR AFTER YOU ANSWER HIS QUESTION.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

"Microserfs" by Douglas Coupland (who also happens to be my favourite author).
This book was sitting on our coffee table one day, and I noticed its shiny cover (silver). Yes, I initially judged this book by its cover. I noticed it also had a photograph of a man made of Lego on it, and that was enough to pique my interest (despite the "30% Off!" sticker).
Once I began reading it, I found I couldn't put it down - the book is written in journal format, and Coupland's writing style was eerily similar to my journal writings! I was hooked, and finished it quickly.
Since then, it has been the book I read when I'm sick, lonely, or just need to get back to myself. It has a great story, no detailed sex-scenes (those tend to bother me in otherwise good books), very realistic characters, and tons of geek and pop-culture references.
In fact, Coupland's newest release, "J-Pod", is seen as his newest take on "Microserfs". I recommend both!
Neat little tidbit: my friend is going to star as one of the main characters in the television series of "J-Pod". :D
