my sister in law is pregnant with the second child. During the first pregnancy she didnt feel alot of sickness and he was a boy. Now she s experiencing far worse sickness all day long. Could it be a sign that its a girl?

P.S. In the family we all love girls hehe

there are no symptoms of a 'kid's-sex' since it's not a sickness. the way ur sister in law feels is depending on the position of the baby. the first one was not "sitting" on her stomach and this one yes. :)
anyhow, wishing u a healthy baby girl, and good luck.

Well, i don't think the sickness will determine the child sex. Though am 20 weeks i havent been sickly except for the morning sickness..(thank God that's over) and i can't just assume to be carrying a boy.

P.S. I pray and hope for a baby girl too! lol

i dont think sickness plays apart in the gender, i have sickness 24/7 still (im over 22 weeks ) and if the scan was right I'm having a boy, i already have 4 children 3 girls 1 boy and all of their pregnancies were different
maybe she is having a girl though you never know...............

It sounds to me that she needs to eat better and exercise.
Her body may have become depleted during the last 18 months caring for her child and trying to keep up her normal lifestyle.

Sometimes the last person to get taken care of is the Mom.
As far as pain...
Girls don't cause pain. The sex of the child has nothing to do with pain.

Good luck.

I never got sick with my boys...but with my daughter I was sick for six months. But I was told it didn't matter. I did think though it was a girl, my pregnancy was alot different from the boys. Congrats

Nope. Each pregnancy is different. So don't take certain symptoms as proof of the child's sex. Just wait till the ultrasound.

you never know until the ultra sound, there are no definite ways to tell either way, it just happends, you get what you get, and be happy with that!

every pregnancy is different so her symptoms will obviously different this time around.

No, that's just an old wives' tale. Different genders don't cause you to have different pregnancy symptoms. It's just that all pregnancy's are different
