nothing is free if you think about it ! I pay through the nose !

Nothing is free in one respect, but most things that matter are freely accessible. Responsibility is what is required of you in regards to what is free. You can't go through life breathing, eating, drinking and not paying somebody in some way. Even the time we have comes with strings attached. God says 'I give you all that you need' and then requires that we love Him. Not a bad deal, but not entirely free. He offers forgiveness for our failures with our minute responsibilities and that comes with the strings of obedience. Still a very good deal. All His requirements are for our own good but they are requirements and not entirely freedom.

Absolutely. A smile. A kitten curling up in your lap. A kiss given by someone truly yummy in your life. A back rub. A badly cooked dinner when the most intense attention is given to getting it right by someone who is wanting to show they love you. A hot bubble bath. mmmm...the list goes on and on....

The best thing in life - to me - is my religion (Islam) and it is for free to everyone. But once you embrace it, you have to work hard to be up to it.

Natural resources perhaps.. but.. material objects. hell no. most people take them for granted when there handed to them.. if you Earn something. you take more pride in it.. then just having it handed to you on a silver plater.
