when you consider the facts:
PS3 has full HD support. neither the Wii or the 360 have anything close to that.
you can play PS3 online for free, microsoft charges $70 for a year.
PS3 has blu-ray compatibility. The Wii has nothing of the sort. and the 360 requires you spend $200 to play HD DVDs which only plays movies and arent even as good as blu-ray discs.
Ps3 can store up to 60GB of music movies and games. 360 can store 20GB and Wii can store jack ****.
Ps3 has games like resistance, Lair, Full auto 2, Motorstorm. the only good game of the 360 is halo 3, which wont be here until next november.
PS3 has the option of HDMI, AV, Coaxial, or component output, the 360 gives you one cable that will use either A/V or Component, and they have the nerve to call the component output HD. wii makes you use AV.
The Blu-ray discs used for PS3 games make the games huge. i beat gears of war on the 360 in 9 hours. 12 hours and i am about 1/4 through resistance

hey buddy, nice work!!, but you also forgot that the PS3 is the only console that can fully browse the Internet, just plug in a keyboard and a mouse on the usb connector and u are ready to surf the net, just like any computer. and that blu-ray technology can hold 10x more info than a DVD(xbox360 & wii) and 2x more than a HD-DVD. It's also the only one that can display true 1080p resolution 9the highest of them all). also the sixaxis controller that the 360 doesn't have and the wii controller looks idiotic.
and finally the great library of games that playstation had, has and always will have

PS3 is $600 (or $500) compared to the 360's $400 (or $300) and the Wii's $250. Their accessories are also far more expensive than any of their competitors'.

PS3 had problems with Blu-Ray and was therefore unable to deliver enough systems to supply the demand.
PS3's graphics are comparable to the 360's, despite promises that they would be far better.
Sony can't come up with a decent controller design (they keep imitating their competitors--in this case, Nintendo with the motion detection--and they've been using the same basic design since the PS1, which I've always thought was pretty uncomfortable; though I will admit that is my personal opinion).
Xbox Live is far better than any free online gaming community service, including Sony's, BECAUSE you have to pay for it. (and I'm only paying $50 a year, and subscriptions actually cost $59.99 now http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/memberships/12month-premiumgold.htm )
Why do you say the only good game for the 360 is Halo 3? Have you even played anything on the 360? How about DOA4? Call of Duty 2 & 3? Saint's Row? Oblivion? Gears of War? PGR3? And obviously Resistance for the PS3 was made to be a long game. You basing your opinion of the 360 (in whole or in part) on the length of one game and your opinion of the others is erroneous and arrogant.

I don't hate the ps3. It's abit expensive though. I guess all the hating is because most uninformed people just don't realize that it's actually a steal to get a ps3 set for $600++. The hardware alone cost $1000++ easy. Cutting edge, high-end stuff cost a premium.
I'll probably get mine around April next year :) After I play the **** out of my Wii and X360.

PS3 hasn't impressed me yet with their launch titles with games that are full of bugs and graphics that resemble that of the original playstation. Also sony is shooting themselves in the foot eveytime they sell a system. I just heard they lose about $300 for every 60 gig. system they sell. Wii has online also, legend of zelda: twilight princess will take a gamer anywhere 50-70 hours to beat so that worth the $50 compared to some of the other games that only take 10-12hours for the same price.

I'm not hating, as a matter of fact, I played it in Best Buy this past Saturday and it's beautiful! I'm a Playstation fan and own a PSOne and PS2. I'm not paying $600 for that mo'fo! It's gotta drop to $350 for me to even consider it. Anybody that does pay $600 is an idiot.
