My most precious thing in all the world are my children both girls so when I give my Daughters hand in marriage it will be the happiest day of their lives but i think deep down I will feel a bolt of pain in my heart , not knowing if in this age their choice and I do agree it will be their own choice , is a correct one .
I hope that they will meet a good man an honest hard working man and live as happy a life as is possible. So my most precious gift will be giving away my daughter at the alter.

It really depends on what relationship you are asking about. Even friends or neighbors need precious gifts.

Respect.................................... When committing your self to someone you should trust them, believe in them and honor their life and the beliefs that carry them. When faced with something they do or say, or understand you should always evaluate before confronting you friend/lover. Ask your self if it is something you can live with or with out. If you can live with it then it is better to just let it lie. If it is something you really need and adjustment on then approach with the same understanding and compassion you would like to have. Yelling, demanding or belittling is not love.

Honesty is always good, especially in relationships (love, family, friends etc). Carries a lot of weight with how people respond back.
