Was Nemisis a fitting send off? or could there be a more conclusive ending to the series?

nobody has read the question properly. i dont feel that Nemisis was a good enough send-off for the crew of the USS Enterprise. at least one more next generation film to end it off properly and tie up the loose ends.

Well yes there should be more. How can they leave us hanging like that? Make me cry when they killed Data. I'll have to do a Jay and Silent Bob road trip and go to Hollywood. hehehe

Well for one, you're assuming that they have to follow the path of sequels. They could easily do stories from earlier in the Enterprise timeline. In fact, the last rumors I heard were going to be pre-Kirk or early Kirk.
I guess the main measure on whether or not there should be another movie is whether or not they have a decent story that would benefit the franchise as a whole (and entertain us) by being told.
Sequels for the sake of sequels (aka money) are rarely worth the time to sit through in the theaters and I rarely bother with them anymore.

Considering that word is the next movie (which already has a director - J.J. Abrams of Lost/MI III fame - slated for the project and comes out in '08, see below) will be about the young Jim Kirk and Spock characters, it wouldn't have anything to do with the TNG storyline, so "Nemesis" would still be the end of that series.

I'm a Trekkie, and I hope they never stop making Star Trek movies. Nemesis was truly awesome, why would they stop? I'm sure the true fans would welcome more episodes. Here's a crazy thought, they should bring ''Khan'' back. I always thought they killed him off to soon!

next generation is over, but yes they should keep making more films featuring other crews or ships...
