G'day,

Go to the webpage that you want it to be default. Click Tools-Internet Options. In the Home Page block, just click "Use Current" button and it will be your default page next time you access IE.

Good Luck!

There's a couple of ways you can do this.

The first one is what everyone above has stated.
Go into Tools->Internet Options. Type the web address of the page you want as your Home Page. If you are already on the Yahoo page, just click Use Current.

Another way is going to the Yahoo website. On the top left-hand corner, there's a link which says "Make Yahoo your homepage". Click on this and clik OK when a confirmation window pops up. That's it. It's all done.

Go to the YAHOO web site in your browser (Internet Explorer,Netscape or other browser). Type www.yahoo.com in the address section of the browsre and click GO.

When the yahoo page is displayed, click tools on the internet explorer tool bar, then click internet options, then click "USE CURRENT" in the Homepage section of the general tab. That will reset your home page to yahoo. Good luck, Jerry

I distinctly remember the settings page that was trying to slyly change my default settings. It did ask. go to tools: internet options and set the defaults that you want.

Your statement is like complaining that Google toolbar got installed without your knowledge when you installed adobe acrobat. Clearly there was a checkbox that you HAD to uncheck in order to avoid the google install.

Don't blindly click past dialog boxes next time! You should read them.
