It's called sexual differentiation. Men will like the things in a woman that make her less like him - men don't have breasts, so they like breasts in a woman; men tend to be tall, so they like shorter women; men that are assertive, like women that are submissive; and so on. Nobody wants to be with someone that is EXACTLY like them, but do like to have SOME similarities... Although when people look for similarities, they look for common interests -- they don't want somebody that LOOKS like them. I agree with Hari. Let's try to look at this in a more positive fashion. Besides, I'm sure it's not just true of men -- this is true for women, as well. Women look for men that look different than them, too.

What do you mean standard .Are you proposing that if people are'nt a standard height they be shrunk or stretched'You probably mean average height=5-10inches
