i mean back in the day they had some good one such as "the blob", "the thing" and tom savini's "night of the living dead" but now a days they just are stinkers! like dawn of the dead remake ( i was dissapointed), hills have eyes, and my all time favorite... Yeah, I'm with you- I hate remakes too.
People nowadays don't appreciate the classics. They're always trying to improve everything. The only problem is you can't improve something that was nearly perfect to start with. That's why they always end up being so stupid.

Some yes, but not all I actually like the Amityville horror remake, and just went and saw Casino Royale it was great. Also I can not wait until they do the remake of JAWS, with the technology they had for Deep Blue Sea people may never swim in the ocean ever again. Should be great.

Who was the guy that came and twisted your arm to watch the remake? I'll send the mob after him. I think alot of the remakes were great. I still love the oldies also. You do have to admit that the Lord of the Rings remake was way better than the cartoon version.

9 times out of 10, remakes are pointless
but i have to disagree with you... the NOTLD remake was as bad or worse than the Dawn of the Dead one...

not really. most times they are pretty good and are able to capture te sense that the director of the original tried to capture with limited technology. with the latest tech the new generation of directors can recreate the film as it was meant to be.
ps: if you dont like remakes, don't watch them.

there are some i cant wait for them to decide rather or not to do..
TRON.. the guy who created it would love to remake it with today's technology.. That would be amazing.

it depends on the movie, if it's a movie that I don't like, then screw it, I don't care, but otherwise it pisses me off
