Is this not a verbal agreement disclaiming liability.

No, not so.
You cannot disclaim a liability. You can only disclaim a benefit.
In fact you cannot disclaim child support even in a prenuptial agreement.
The reason for this is that the child support is in the "best interest of the child", thus neither a father nor a mother not both can disclaim it.

Yes. Intentions do not change that kids resulted from the union. Withholding child support punishes the children unfairly. The problem did not start with the children. It started at the beginning and during the relationship that produced the children. The real problem is lack of communication, understanding and agreement in the relationship that created the children. Those are issues that need to be resolved.

Yeah, he sure should! If this guy was so against having kids he should have made sure that he used reliable condoms. Let's face it, there's always a chance that a partner will wind up pregnant. That's the chance you take when you have sex! And why should the kid suffer? Whether or not the guy meant to have him the kid still has to eat and have a place to live. Like it or not its his responsibility. If he really doesn't want kids he should think about a vasectomy.

Did said guy do everything possible to insure there would be no pregnancy? Is said guy prepared to never ever try to claim kid...even if he becomes president? Is said guy such a loser he has no interest in the fruit of his loin?

Yes if the baby is yours. Mistakes happen, but its both youre responsibilities because you both chose to have sex. You decided to have sex and she ended up getting pregnant. You are both to blame so you both have to take responsibility.

If you have not had a vasectomy to prevent conception then any baby you make should be your financial responsibility. Period.
