I'm writing a 25 page story for my History class and just can't seem to get any inspiration on it. I just need a few ideas please. I'm stuck.

I'm not writing about a person that has already lived. I'm making up a story and just need help with it. For example, do you think I should do a story about a woman whom lived in the late 1800s? Or possibly about one from the early 1900s when we women were first really breaking free of the steriotypes of women belonging in the kitchen?

Perhaps you can derive your story from the history of Joan of Arc.....or perhaps from the play Medea by Euripides (although Male, often referred to as the early feminist and ridiculed for his plays)

Have you ever heard of Mother Antonia. She was born Mary Clarke, and grew up in Beverly Hills, was twice divorced and raised 7 children. She visited La Mesa prison one day on a trip across the border, and suddenly got the feeling that here was her life's mission. With only a Spanish Dictionary and a toothbrush she moved into the prison to help the women prisoners, many who were there because of abusive husbands. She stayed and administered to the needy for over 28 years. A book called "The Prison Angel" was written about her.
