Is there anyone else who would leave their significant other for Wesley on Angel?

I don't know what it is about that smart, smart British man, but he was the only reason I watched the show! I actually cried during the series finale (anyone who has seen it knows why).

Sorry don't do much TV watching,never saw Wesley or angel.
