i have to write a two-line dictionary definition for each vocabulary word so i just write two definitions right? just making sure, i know this is stupid but..

I think it means you have to write one defintion but 2 lines long (they probably want more than one word).
Thats what I would do, or did they ask for 2 definitions?

No...each definition has to take up 2 lines of paper.

i woild say that means the definition to the word needed to be two lines of space on the paper

SInce most of the definitions are short, thatwould work
