Jim Nabors was born in 1933, that would make him 73 now. In the mid 90's he had failing health and had a liver transplant. He lives in Hawaii and owns a Macadamia Nut company. I know him best as Gomer Pyle. I don't know how much he still sings, in researching your question I saw that he's sang 29 times prior to the Indianapolis 500 since 1972, and last year received 'honors' from the university of Alabama (his home state), and highway 280 in Alabama was renamed after him. He was one of the first celebrities to openly announce that he is gay. Nabors spends most of his time in Hawaii.
