You question depends on what type of games you like to play. If you like to play alot of first person shooters games like Halo then Xbox 360 would be better. If you like to play RPG games, then your not going to be satisfied with the Xbox 360. Then you would want the PS3 becouse the PS3 as more RPG's then any other console out their. The RPG's right now are for the PS1 and PS2, but since the PS3 is backward compatibal with both system you can play them on the PS3 as well. The PS3 will have RPG's in time. If you really like Mario and the legend of Zelda, then you would like the wii better. Sports and racing games don't matter as both system offers the same games for most sports games. The wii also offers something different that you can't get on the PS3 or Xbox 360. When you play baseball you actually swing at the ball, and when you pitch, you actually throw the ball as you would real life. I think thats pretty cool. It depends on the type of game player that you are.

I haven't played a ps3, but I've owned a wii for almost 24 hours now, my ranking would agree with chandler, and go
1. Wii - Graphics are next gen, but barely. Certain scenes in Zelda:TP look amazing, but occasionally I'll feel like I'm playing a gamecube.
Close 2nd. Xbox360 - If you've got an HD that can do 1080i, the graphics, and the gameplay (as far as conventional controls go) are both amazing.
3rd. PS3 - Pricetag and very limited game library, but amazing graphics.

I am an Nintendo guy...Zelda all the way.. If you like sports games go with the big bucks 360 or PS3. But fro the best play and most odd and Fantasy games Wii...so far for me no company has beaten them. Just an honest opinion.

The 360 is winning the race because it has a 1 year lead on the other systems. Next year, when all systems are freely available, that's when we can say which system is winning.
With a few exceptions, launch games for all systems suck. That's just a fact. Developers have had very little time to spend making games on the final dev kit. Launch games are just appetizers. It's to give you a sense of what you can expect with 2nd and 3rd generation games. Comparing 1st generation games against 2nd generation games isn't fair. Comparing the 360s first generation games vs Sony's first generation games vs Wii's first generation games, that's a fair battle. Comparing 360's 2nd generation game vs. Sony's first generation game vs Wii first generation games isn't fair.
At this stage, it's too early to say which system is better. Everybody is going to have their opinions, and fanboys/fangirls are going to put spins on their system to make it seem like it's the better choice. As long as you enjoy the system, then it's the winner.

Well, 360 is definetly winning the race. PS3 is not delivering, and my personal favorite is the Wii.
If you want Awsome Graphics, Good Gameplay = 360
If you want Good Graphics, Awsome Gameplay = Wii
If you want Incredible Graphics, Crap Gameplay = PS3
