Well, I can read about 100 pages an hour for an average book, so long as I'm not interrupted. The usual mystery novels I read take about 3 hours. The Da Vinci Code took me about 4 hours. Harry Potter usually takes about 6-8 hours.

I had a roommate read DaVinci Code, and it took her a few days, with working and going to school at the same time.
I read all the Harry Potter books, each one took me about 2 days.

As a college student I read The Da vinci Code in 3 hours straight......but you cant have any distractions (except to go tot the bathroom, ofcourse......but you could take it with you, I suppose??) As for harry potter it would depend on which of the books you mean.

I've read the Da Vinci Code, but not in one sitting... if I added it up, I'd say it was anywhere from 4-6 hours... maybe..
